NLMK owners to discuss resignation of CEO Bagrin on March 12
MOSCOW, Jan 16 (PRIME) -- The board of directors of Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) will hold an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of shareholders on March 12 to discuss resignation of President and Chairman of the Management Board Oleg Bagrin and choose a new CEO, NLMK said in a statement on Tuesday.
A source close to the company told PRIME that Senior Vice President Grigory Fedorishin is the main contender for the position of CEO of NLMK.
Bagrin, who has been president and chairman since 2012, decided to resign after election to a new term in office in June 2017. The company declined to say what his plans for the future are.
